The best spot in Muskegon that I've found for craft beers, they had good list of quality beers on draft and bottles. We missed a Shorts release that was the night before and they didn't have any of the specials drafts left. Inside was dark wood with large windows letting in the sun of a spring afternoon. The food was good with almost too many options enjoyed one of the many burgers they had, think there were about 10 different ones. Service was quick and attentive. Drinks and food were very well priced for the quality.

Great place.30-35 taps including Aventinus, ABT 12, selections from Shorts, Dragonmead, Bells and many others.Glassware was iffy, but everything was available in mugs, pints, and quarts.Snifters could be substituted for the "mugs".

Nice, dark wood open concept. Service was decent and professional. No problems.

Food was a cut above, the calamari was fantastic.Would love to return and try some of their other food offerings.

If in the area, I would certainly return. Best bar in Muskeegon by far.Cant wait to go back.

Pints and Quarts is the best bar in Muskegon, hands down. It's full of dark wood but also has walls of windows to let light in. It's one large room with a large bar at one end, a section of high tables, and then a larger section of low tables. I like to watch a ballgame here, but there are too many TVs.

But the main attraction here is the huge taplist, the big Scotch selection, and the good food. They share a kitchen with the great chophouse nextdoor, CF Prime, and offer some of the same things. Their wings, bruschetta, pickle chips, sliders, and calamari are all great dishes to start with, and are half price during happy hour. Their burgers are great, and are a great value on Monday when you can buy one and get one free. Their dinner plates are a bit pricey but the food is top notch.

The taplist here is huge, something like thirty, and everything from $1 mugs of PBR to Founders special releases. Lots of beers are available in a mug, pint, quart, or tower. The scotch list here is the best in town by a longshot, though the prices vary widely. They make their money on the big names like Macallan, Balvenie, and JW, which are all quite expensive here. But then they sell quality malts like Oban 14 and Highland Park 18 for $10 a glass, so there is quality to be had without paying $14 for a Macallan 12. The only qualm I have with their scotch selection is that there is nary an Islay malt, which is something of a crime. But for the Highlands and the Spey, the selection is great.

A downside is that when the place gets loud, it roars, and it's hard to have a conversation. But it's always a good time, and the food quality is always good, and the drink menu is always large, if a bit inconsistent in price. Highly recommended.

Atmosphere: Includes young and old, families in the restaurant area. Can be loud on a busy night. Favorite for local get-togethers, nice patio area available in nice weather.

Quality: Clean and organized. Well appointed, not the garage sale knicknacks you see hanging around so many other bars. Nice tv's around the bar, those around the dining area are smaller and distracting.

Service: Was prompt, staff was knowledgeable of drinks and food. Management was in-house and in charge. Seems to be pretty well run.

Selection: Excellent selection of beer! Delirium Tremens to Founder's KBS to PBR. Nice list of Scotch, though pretty $$. Fresh taps with many regional microbrews featured. Several rotating seasonals and imports.

Food: Great food selection, from salads to burgers to salmon and steak. Large portions at a reasonable price. Happy hour had appetizer's half off. The calamari was unique and delicious.

Value: Premium beers can set you back $5-$7, the Scotch much more. Wide range of food prices to fit one's budget.

Nice place, busy, boisterous, well-run.

Atmosophere- Has the potential to be a 4+. The interior is great with lots of big windows and great looking woodwork. That said, they have twice as many tv's as is really necessary. I don't see this place as a sports bar, so it's a bit of overkills. Additionally the set-up makes the music and chatter come across as a cacophonous mess.

Quality- The restaurant is quite pleasant, other than as described. They have some great beers and the food is pretty good.

Service- The waitresses have always had a good handle as to what's on tap and have checked up on my party regularly. They're honest in their opinions and do a fine job.

Selection- Not the biggest ever, but lots of good stuff in a variety of styles from a lot of different breweries, import and domestic crafts.

Food- Solid. Mainly traditional fare, with a twist.

The bonus, most all of their beers come in both pints and quarts.
