I had a couple of IPA's while on a trip to Dallas, and this one definitely fits what seems to be a "texas style". IPA: quite malty in the nose and flavor, but just enough hops to provide for a pleasant IPA experience. Well done and enjoyable

This beer comes in a 4pack can at around $7. Pours a yellow straw color with a low one finger head. Head retention stays with you for awhile before saying goodbye. The aroma is simply awesome. Love that simcoe hop aroma. Piney, citrus fruit and a caramel sweetness blended well with a bready maltiness makes you want to take another drink. The alcohol at 7% isn't very noticeable. Bubbly, sticky sweet suds feel my mouth and finishes with a delightfully sweet coating. I have always loved this beer for what it is. A great tasting simcoe infused sessionable IPA and I hope it sticks around for along while.

Clear golden colored pour with a dense one-finger white head. Nice juicy citrus aroma. Strong bitter flavor with hints of citrus and lemon. Can also taste a hint of bread and biscuit in the backend.

A: Pale yellow to orange, thin bubbly head, great lacing
S: Pine, citrus, caramel. I get those hops right upfront but I do get some caramel malts to balance that I didn't see in the color.
T: Like the smell would indicate, I get the pine and citrus hops up front with a caramel malt taste to balance. The tastes are not so aggressive that you can't enjoy it, they mellow a lot after that first taste.
M: Medium, moderate carbonation, great drinkability
O: A good IPA, good hop presence with enough malt to balance. The artwork on the can is pretty awesome as well.

Pours a clear golden color with finger width foamy head. Head retention i s good. Lacing is great. Has a light piney citrus aroma. Upon tasting, you get some pale malts, mild citrus with a big hoppy resin at the end. Highly astringent and somewhat tangy at the end. Light bodied with moderate carbonation. Decent beer but could use a little malty caramel taste.
