Thanks to Exiled for this nice extra.
12oz. Can poured into a snifter.
A: Pours a very deep brown, nearly black, no light. Pretty decent sized light tan head on the pour with good retention and some lacing.
S: Solid maltyness with subtle roasted barley aromas. Deep bready aroma with some toasted nut notes.
T/M: Pretty unique. The toasted, almost burnt, nut flavor is much stronger and very tasty. More dark bread as well as nearly burnt caramel. Milky chocolate with some light bitterness. Body is nearly full with smooth carbonation.
D: While not the best stout I've ever had, this is certainly one of the most unique. 8.5% is nearly undetectable. Pretty easy drinking and one I'll certain try again in the future.
Serving type: can
