12 oz can poured into oversized wine glass.
A: Pours a murky burnt orange / ruby with a finger of off white head.
S - Smells sweet and tart, like berries, with some Belgian funkiness.
T - I get sweet and tart raspberry, apricot, cherry, and Belgian yeast. This is a great flavor combo!
M - Sticky sweet, the body is thin-moderate, and the carbonation is moderate.
O - An interesting brew with a great fruity flavor profile. I really enjoyed this.

On tap at Hop City, Birmingham
A: A hazy burnt orange with an off-white, one-finger head that lingered. Decent lacing.
S: Light malts and fruity esters (apple and pear). Some spicy notes.
T: Smooth, sweet, light. Follows nose with those peppery spices added. A slight hop bitterness towards the finish. A good smooth example of the style. No complaints.
M: Medium with light to medium carbonation.
O: Could've been a bit more robust, but overall, a decent bier de garde.
