A: clear orange amber color, white head, no lacing
S: corn, wheat, floral hop, slight toffee note, musky malt smell
T: dank flavor, corn, bland caramel malt flavor, earthy hop flavor
M: its dry and decently carbonated, light bodied, leaves a dank bitter aftertaste
O: This beer doesn't have much going on. It's not terrible but I probably wouldn't buy it again. The flavors didn't work well together and the musky dank flavor is off putting to me.

Pours a murky light brown color. A lot of carbonation, but with only a thin white head.
Not a lot to the smell. Just a small bit of caramel to the smell.
Taste is okay. It is interesting. A pale lager, but a nice caramel malt taste to it as well. I have never had a pale double bock, but I like the differing tastes. They just aren't as strong as I would like.
Mouthfeel has a medium thickness. It is fairly smooth, but not spectacular.
Drinkability is good for this beer. It has some interesting tastes, but not very strong. Not one of the best beers, but something like I have never had, so I am glad I did.

A: Poured a deep but glowing orangish color if that makes any sense at all. Nice bubbles and head retention
S: Corn and grains, wheat, some floral hops, hint at toffee and or caramel
T:Wheat, grains and a hint at corn come out, floral hops and a nice Earthiness come in to play. I detect a very slight amount of toffee or caramel perhaps
M: Nice, lighter to medum body, refreshing and easy to drink
O: For the price it is a good beer! A little3 heavier than 5.1ABV

500ml from Capital Market,Salem. Nice golden almost orange coloured beer with a huge frothy white head. Very malty aromas, bready, some caramel. Taste is also very malty..very bock like. Slightly toasted carmel, with hints of grain and honey. Very nice on the tongue, liked the smooth feel of this one. Overall i liked this one but really dispute as to wether ti is a Bohemian Pilsner. I believe it IS a pale Bock or even a Euro strong lager..it certainlly seemed way over the 5.1% on here.

Picked up a single from the State Liquor Store in Vernal, UT for about 1.50. Bottle claims to be a pale double bock?
A: Nice golden straw color, a little deeper than other pilseners. Stark white head about an inch thick reduces to about half of that. Excellent clarity, lots of carbonation as well. Big sticky clumps of lacing on the sides as well.
S: Not a whole lot going on, somewhat medicinal smell, can't really place that one, hops are subtle, but peppery and lemony in the scent.
T: Not at all what I expected. Very minerally and metallic up front. Malt characteristics are somewhat sweeter than other pilseners, but not to the level of a bock. Definite spiciness from the hops comes through in the end. Metallic taste is simply too offsetting.
M: Thin, crisp and nicely carbonated. Feels almost a little higher in ABV than 5.1. Slight burn when going down. Finish is rather wet and begs another sip.
D: Not the best beer I've ever had, but I could drink quite a few of these, and I'd reach for it over a macro, but really nothing that special.

This is a wonderful Czech lager/pilsner (despite the name), light and smooth but tasty, full-bodied and interesting.
Dark gold, it's just a tad hazy with a medium, off-white head that slowly shrinks and leaves a hint of lace.
The aroma is nice, malty grain with light bread, lemon, honey, herbs, pine, and hint of sulphur.
The taste is wonderful, with a zesty herbal and grassy quality, hay, honey, toasted bread, lemon, a very faint caramel element, and a spritzy quality. It's a bit sweet with lightly dominant bitterness. It's full bodied but lively and tingly, and exceedingly drinkable.

17 oz picked up at the Coop yesterday for about $2.75.. poured into my Smokestack goblet...
Fairly tight 2 finger head.. lasts a while.. only spotty lacing.. brew is fairly clear golden honey.
aroma is clean pale malts... I would hesitate to call this a pilsner.. there just doesn't seem to be enough hops there.. subtle spiciness, but it is in the background.
Flavor mirrors the aroma.. not alot going on here at all... needs more hops to be considered a pils... more like a maibock. body is on the thick side and the carbonation is lively enough.
Not bad... this brew is just not a Czech Pils. again, definitely more like a maibock... even then, it is only a moderately interesting maibock.
