A: Golden clear with average head retention and lacing.
S: Grassy notes right off the bat. Not hoppy...as it should be.
T: Well OK. It should be hoppier. It is smooth and has a grassiness many good pilseners and lagers do. More than a hint though. Dominant grassiness which is a tad off. Medium bitterness up front but no hop flavor as should be in a pils. Malt flavors are more dominant.
M: Medium mouthfeel.
O: A bit disappointing. Missing is the hopiness of a true Czech pils. Your average German Pils has more. Fairly smooth but a bit more grassiness that there should be.

Pours a straw color with a big head that goes very quickly, quite a bubbly brew. The smell was a little musty kinda awkword for a pilsner I think, thee is some slight bready aromas as well. The taste is a little blah, there is a little hop dryness in there with a weak sweetness to it.Drinkable but not overly flavorfull in my opinion.

A - Straw color yellow, very bright, with a good amount of carbonation. Small white head that faded too fast, but at least left a covering.
S - Clean malt smell, but not a lot of it. Grain aroma really comes though.
T - Crisp and simple. Although not a lot of sweetness, it comes though without any real hop presence. Then it almost seems like there is a coin in your mouth as it finishes
M - Thin and watery, like a pils, nice little tingle from the carbonation, doesn't feel much different than carbonated water.
D - It is refreshing and has a nice grain flavor. Good picnic/BBQ in the sun beer, but not one I would care to drink while the beer was the focus of attention.
Overall the beer isn't bad, but I won't purchase it again.

Presentation: 12oz brown bottle. Regal looking label. No freshness date.
Appearance: Pale golden. Clear with lots of tight carbonation. Head is a frothy white crown, a bit sticky, with chunky bubbles.
Smell: Light dextrin sweetness and mild grain aromas. Also pick-up some grape.
Taste: Light bodied. Light malt. Dextrin sweetness. Tea-like floral hop flavours, a flash of lemon. Grape, like concord grape. Herbal notes, grain dryness and a slight metallic flavour on the palate at the finish.
Notes: Nice, light, authentic Bohemian Pilsner. Very refreshing.

500ml bottle poured into a Duvel tulip.
pours a very light golden color with a small white head with a bit of lacing. Nose is pilsner malt and a bit of light hoppiness.
Taste is kinda weird, it's got a kind of mustiness to it. There is some maltiness to it but honestly it's not that great. Mouthfeel is light and smooth with a small hop bite. But theres just some weird off taste that I can't explain that's turning me off.

Ouch. Apple juice colored with a white, wet head that pops and fizzes like soda. Smell of bitter hop, pine, and skunk. Mouthfeel is slick, kinda watery. Head disappears quickly and laces not at all. Taste is mostly bitter, and skunky Bud-esque, right through to the aftertaste. Poured out half the bottle.

The Czech Rebel Beer has a basic golden yellow appearance. There isn't anything that really stands out to me and there's not that hurts this beer either in the appearance.
The smell was sort of bland to me, I didn't get an awakening aroma that stood out and caught my nose.
The taste is a little above average. It sort of has a smooth taste, I can't really figure this one out.
The mouthfeel is average with a crisp bite to it. Nothing really special here.
The drinkability is about average. I could sit down with a few of these but nothing really stood out for me.
Overall I think this is an alright beer but nothing I would highly recommend.

Yellow, lots of carbonation, white head, dissipates almost completely in a quick like fashion. Slightly lemonish aroma, no hops.
Taste, high carbonation, lager yeast, little hop mouthfeel. Not bad, but pretty standard, a little skunky at times. Better than the pilsners in the states, but nothing to brag about here.
Dry finish. A decent summer offering.

A darkish yellow sub amber color. Carbonated, medium-sized bubbles, thin but persistent head. Slight malt aroma, tad of skunk trace. Very crisp flavor, retains crispness well. Hop bite is more upfront. Pleasing aftertaste. Classic Pilsner flavor profile, which leaves me with little to write. Qaulity brew, refreshing, and certainly not complex.

This pils is an active clear, bright dark gold color. It develops a pure white head on top right over a finger tall that sticks around, surprisingly dense and rocky, and leaves good lacing as it falls.
Some grains and a red grape note set the tone, an interesting pils with a touch of floral and citrus, extremely light on the hops but they are present, with a balance of malts to complement. Even for a light style, just a little more strength would do.
The taste follows suit pretty well, the light grape notes with an unoffensive foundational grains note balancing with something a little dryer in the malts and a little brighter in a citrus note, but with a leafy, herbal element coming out on the end.
The body is as light as expected but not boring, even veering toward medium almost, with a semi-dry feel as, rather than clashing, somehow a dryness mingles with the sweeter, maltier elements. It's consistently crisp and has a nice underlying smoothness as well.

Pours a light orangish amber, slight nose typical of a Czech pilsner, sweet hops and malty scent. The taste is very crisp and clean, lacks the depth of character in both hops and malts that some other Czech pilsners have, still, this is a solid example of the style and the kind of beer where you could have one, or two, or three, just about anywhere.

500ml Bottle. Awesome label.
App: True gold with fluffy, white 2 finger head
Smell: Caramel malt and nothing but. Not what i look for in a pils, especially a czech one.
Taste: Greeted by the caramel malt. Next follows a bit of a chemical taste. Ends with a sharp, burning hop bitterness from those czech hops. A rather light flavor.
Has the mouthfeel of a cheap american lager: light but sticky.
Not a great beer, but i'd have this over alot of others.

Looks like a pils, as well it should. Golden. Clear. White froth (though a bit smaller than most).
Muted nose of Saaz. Otherwise empty aroma-wise.
Pale and bready up front with a ghost of a green raisin fruitness. Some hard-water minerals are noted. Odd vanilla-leaning sensation midway. Herbal Saaz closure with a rotting orange/dish soap finale.
Spritzy and mineral water-esque. Easily drinkable, in a macro sort of way (considering this is dirt cheap, that may be the best comparison).
While not terrible, this has some critical flaws. There are many better bohemian pils.

As a Czech lager this suffers in comparison to its competition, but it's not without its merits; and to be fair, there is some stiff competition! It's crystal-clear, golden body is quite attractive; and it's frothy bright-white head holds a short lid fairly well but leaves only minor spotty lace about the glass. The nose is bold with a combination of grainy malt and some spicy, floral, and mildly grassy hops. The flavor delivers a nicely balanced combination of grainy malt and spicy, herbal, and floral hops. A solid bitterness permeates it, and leaves it dry in the finish with some lingering hops. There are better examples of the style available at the same price; but it remains an enjoyable pils in it's own right.

Picked up a bottle at Euromart for a $2.25. The aroma is a bit simple with bready spice. The body seems just a little watery, but there's a great mixture of sweet bready barley with herbal, grassy lemon hop character. Despite being a little lighter than other Czech pilsners it's also very drinkable and still very flavorful.

Darker than most pilseners. There is not much of a head but there is evident carbonation.
Strong corn smell. No hops that I can smell of but there is a grassy smell.
Good carbonation with a sweet flavor that leaves a small residue on your tongue. Minimal hop bitterness and flavor.
Easy to drink with good balance but would like more hop flavor in this beer, this is a pilsener after all.
A rebel beer this isn't, just your average european lager.

Poured a clear copper color with a small white head that didn't leave much lacing. Has a sweet malt, bready smell to it, not much in the way of hops. Has a sweet malt flavor, almost caramel, followed by nice hop flavor. The hop is not as pronounced as Amercian pilsners but it adds to the drinkability. Has a light mouthfeel but not watery, no dryness to be detected. Not as zesty as I would have thought but it has a nice subtle hop flavor.
