A: Gold body with a nice white head.
S: Very perfumey. Loads of elderflower.
T: Has the illusion of grapefruit but I get mainly honey and elderflower, and lots of. Has a slight white bread finish but otherwise nice and cleansing. Gets better as it warms. Just a touch of spice. Both mild punchy.
O: Much better bottled than on cask.

Poured from a bottle into a shaker pint, the beer is a slightly pale, yellow-gold coloring with a frothy, light, white surface coating of head and a steady flow of carbonation throughout. Aromas of tangy citrus and tropical fruit forward, with heavy doses of grapefruit, lemon zest, berry sweetness, moss, grass, and a slightly sour/tangy melon characteristic. Pretty unique and interesting nose. Flavors are more of the tangy sweet forward, but this time with a heavy resinous character in the backbone. Berries and grapefruit blend for a tart and sweet overtone, with a biscuit backbone. The body is light and extremely effervesced, with a short-lived grapefruit and cracker aftertaste. There are some legit tart grapefruit notes lingering into that aftertaste. Wow. The finish is dry and light, and the increased carbonation cleans up the palate for the most part. Just a little of the resin and tart linger around. Solid brew.

Light yellow and somewhat watery in appearance.
The citra hop has a lovely aroma which this beer uses to the full.
The grapefruit comes through strongly followed by the milder but more florid lychee. Bitterness is not as sharp as expected which leads to a smooth finish.
Not much body and lightly carbonated.
I enjoyed the experience.

Cask on tap at Three Horseshoes pub outside Derby, UK. Was surprised to see a citra on. Cool deal. Like all citra dominant brews the aroma has that typical tropical fruit, dank citra smell love it. Taste was a bit bitter on the back end. Nice light mouthfeel given the low carbonation. Enjoyable brew that I'd have again.
