A good starter beer for those that have only drank the mass produced suds. The blonde is a light, crisp beer with a slight malt flavor and just enough Czechoslovakian Saaz hops to balance the malt sweetness.

Served on tap at Blanco Tacos in the Phoenix Airport. Good spot with a few local options if you are ever stuck here.

A: Pale yellow/orange color with some carbonation and little head.

S: Slight biscuit, but not much else there

T: Again with the biscuit, but then some under toned citrus and bitterness in the finish.

M: Very refreshing and easy to drink

This would be a very good easy drinking summer beer at a BBQ. Very straight forward and a OK offering.

On-tap at Noble Hops in Tucson. It's a clean blonde, but I was hoping this would be closer to Chelsea's Checker Cab Blonde, which has a nice clean bready character. This was clean, no flaws, but the barley and citrus hops were very mild. Yes, the beer was refreshing and not too light, but I'd have wanted more flavor.

Pours a clear yellow with some head. Scent mild hop with old beery smell. A light, bubbly very very pale beer with a hint of malt and hops. It distinctly lacks the "swill" character of the average light-ish mass beers. A good intro into the craft beer world, though not one of it's finer representatives.

It wasn't a bad beer. Just not too memorable.

...I should probably stop thinking about opening this can of beer and just open it and move on to the beer:

Not really blonde in color, as it sits closer to a paler golden color, topped with an inch of thick creamy head which retains extremely well. Lacing rings around the glass and sticks around for awhile. The aroma is clean, light, but offers some kisses of crisp hops, a hint of cream ale sweetness, and vague grass. Flavor is light as expected, though it does offer wave after wave of little flavors to keep this beer interesting. The beer starts with a touch of grassy hops, then brings a slightly sweet shortcake note. A little diacetyl adds a buttery note which compliments in this case. It's a light bodied beer which feels a little heavier than its listed alcohol, with lower level of carbonation.

One of the better blonde ales that I've had to taste. Needless to say, this must be a great choice during one of the many 100+ F degree days in Tucson.

On tap at Phoenix airport (with some fish tacos). It was exactly what it claimed to be: clean, crisp and balanced. To me, it was plenty flavorful for the style and was very enjoyable on its own, but was at its best when paired with food. Overall a well executed ale.
