Notes/Commercial Description:
No berries, bark or pine cones in this winter warmer, Steep 'N Deep is the perfect way to loosen the spirits. This potent ale is rich, robust and full of complex flavors created specifically to bring warmth and cheer to the winter season. Moderately hopped and brewed with lots of crystal and caramel malts to give it just a hint of sweetness...it has been known to liven up nearly any social event.

had this from a growler brought back by a friend. Poured into a pint glass. Pours a dark brown color with a small head that disappears fast

very interesting aromas of hops, roasted malts, coffee, and some dark chocolate aromas

medium/full bodied with a nice and smooth feel. Excellent flavors of roasted malts, coffee and dark chocolate

a delicious winter beer. Fuller, but not too much. The combination of roasted malts and hops is excellent

Grabbed this growler when I was on a trip to Big Sky. Not sure about having a winter seasonal on tap in August, but I guess I'll go with it.

Appearance: Pours a deep ruby color with a 3/4" head. It has some pretty good lacing, and good head retention.

Smell: I get a fair amount of coffee on the nose. Also some chocolate and dark malts.

Taste: Pretty good. Some dark fruits, coffee, and bitter chocolate. Pretty nice.

Mouthfeel/Overall: Light to medium bodied, with pretty low carbonation. Pretty smooth and easy going down. Overall, I enjoyed this quite a bit. Probably my favorite beer from this brewery to date.
