Cloudy amber colored beer with a tall white colored head.
Smell is sweet and herbal with a cut grass aroma. Soda cracker malt aroma.
Starts out a little sweet with a little nutmeg taste. Little bit of caramel and absolutely no clove or banana. Not much taste.
Mouthfeel is OK.
Overall this is blah. No reason for anyone to ever buy this.

On tap at Congregation Ale House in Pasadena, CA.
Pours a murky orange with a foamy orange-tan head that settles to a small cap on top of the beer. Thin streaks of lace form around the glass on the drink down. Smell is of malt, wheat, and some fruity aromas. Taste is much the same with a fruity flavor on the finish. There is a mild amount of spice bitterness on the palate with each sip. This beer has a lower level of carbonation with a slightly crisp mouthfeel. Overall, this is an above average beer but this is in no way a take on the traditional German hefeweizen.

A rather strange version of Hefeweizen. Cloudy amber in the pint glass. An odd and slightly perfumey odor that is hard to pin down. First sip hinted at some sort of sourness, but I guess it's just a fruity flavor. Fairly bitter and murky. I don't detect any of the usual esters or spice notes. Average mouthfeel and carbonation. Whatever this is, I won't be trying it again.
