Our classic pale ale. Named for the Tugboats that share our part of Belfast Harbor.

My goto beer when driving through Belfast and stop for dinner at Three Tides. Tug is only available on tap or in a growler. A Classic American Pale Ale, but on the hoppy side. It combines traditional 2-row malted barley from The County with small amounts of specialty grains, and a generous amount of high alpha hops for a reshing session beer.

Pint on draft at Acadia National Bar in Portland.
Appearance: Clear copper with a one-finger eggshell head.
Aroma: Grains, grass, floral hops, herbaceous character.
Taste: Grains and citrus with noticeable hops. Some caramel. Maybe lemon.
Mouthfeel: Very easy drinker. Perfect session depth.
Overall: Very good pale ale. All-purpose type beer that should please everyone except for weirdos who hate flavor.
