L: pours a pale yellow with a thick foamy head. Very cloudy as you would expect from an unfiltered beer. Heavy carbonation, excellent lace.

S: Citrus, metal, yeast. Pretty straight forward. Citrus dominates the nose. Simple and obvious

T: I'm torn. It has a very nice blend of flavors, but it comes across a little bland at times. It is as advertised. Heavy up front on the orange and citrus flavor that falls back onto a wheat backbone and aftertaste. However, some sips can seem a little watery at times, which I feel is a common problem with some fruit beers. Bit of a soapy taste to it as well sometimes. That being said it doesn't have a bad flavor at all. Just not outstanding. The orange flavor is well done. Doesn't taste gimmicky or like an additive.

F: Very crisp and refreshing. Light and tingly. Pretty dry finish. Very very drinkable.

O: It's an average to above average beer. Not outstanding, but definitely not a poor brew by any means. A good go to beer if you are at the store and can't decide what to get. Sessionable, light, and fairly tasty albeit bland at times past a well crafted orange flavor. Doesn't feel gimmicky, which is generally good when the taste you are going for is in the title.

Review from memory. On tap at Naja’s Place, Redondo Beach. Hazy gold color with white head that vanished quickly. Aroma of orange, wheat malt, doughy yeast, spice. Flavors follow the nose with less orange/more lemon citrus notes. Moderate sweetness. Crisp, light body, wet, refreshing.

From BeerAdvocate Magazine #73 (Feb 2013):

One of the most interesting fruit beers we’ve seen in a long while. Not just flavored with oranges but Hangar 24 adds whole oranges throughout the brewing process. Extremely refreshing and a well needed departure from the norm. a beer to be remembered.
