Poured from the bottle into a Spiegelau IPA glass.

Very light IPA, bright lemon yellow and almost like a banana with some light orange towards the top, with an opaque body and fine carbonation rising. Head is quite shocking and bright white to match, with four fingers of fluffy retention and soapy pin head bubbles. Classic ringed island puck while settling, spotty lacing. Pretty bright looking IPA, nearly like a white IPA.

Solid hop nose, and sense of honey sweetness. Slightly sticky sensing, with hints of tropical and grapefruit and a bit of lemon. Slightly spicy sensing, fairly controlled, not much sensing malt presence or distinction that stands out. Looking solid.

For a double IPA this is quite light and refreshing on the palate. Staying away from booming heavy qualities, there's very light malts and almost light wheat crispness to this. Hop angle continues the citrus character, and tropical bunch flavors. Very minimal bitterness and sugars as well, leaving for an interesting light and refreshing hop palate.

It comes off as a hoppy wheat ale without the chew, no doubt to minimal wheat content if any, and lighter malts. For a Double IPA it's very refreshing and almost like a solid hoppy wheat ale minus the wheat density. Very nice.

I really enjoyed this! Initial thoughts were this was way too smooth for a DIPA, however the more I drank, the more the "D" showed itself! Nevertheless, the Hanger 24 folks produced an extremely drinkable beverage (session DIPA?). Too bad I can't get this bad boy in NC...but if you find yourself in Riverside County, Ca, do yourself a favor and give this one a go!

That was a fairly delicious beer. Not exactly why I expected from the flavor, but it was good! It was tasty, so I would drink it again. It's not your typical DIPA. I'm not sure how long this comment is supposed to be... So I'm continuing to write to increase the length.

Pours a little over two fingers of head on a cloudy straw colored body. Looks great.
The aroma is mostly orange and some grapefruit.
The taste moderately bitter beginning to end. Some sweetness breaks through towards the end. Nice profile.
The texture is thicker with moderate carbonation.
Quite enjoyable.
