This pours with an orange-tan-straw color along with nice foam. Visually appealing. Big citrusy aroma with some lemony notes. Flavor has a pleasing upfront bittering. I enjoyed the light lemon peel and touch of pine on the finish. Easy drinking and tasty.

Big notes of citrus, pine and orange juice like smells. A very crisp and scrub the tongue bitterness washes over my taste buds with spicyness and orange like flavors come out. Tropical fruit flavors in taste as well. What a great flavor this one has even better than the aroma which is great as well.

For a single hop beer the complexity is blowing me away. If they didn't say single hop I'd never tell the difference. It makes me want to brew with Columbus hops because of the bitter and very flavorful qualities this certain strain gives. Very impressed with this one.

Pours out of a 22oz bottle, the beers appearance is a copper orange color with a decent amount of foam a top this decent brew. The aroma is a bit dank but the citrus aroma are a bit faint for a west coast IPA. The taste is surprising give the weak aroma, but the citrus lacking in the aroma is a bit more present in the taste. Also present in the taste are grassy notes, maltiniess, bitter hops, and a stong medium body backbone. Overall this is a good, above average IPA, with some good tast characteristics but missing a bit in the aroma and wow factors that separate good beers from great beers.

Appearance - Poured a deep coppery orange into a tulip glass, with a decent head.

Smell - Somewhat faint, not as fruity as other beers I've had but still recognizably citrusy.

Taste - The 77 IBUs and fresh hop/pine flavors really come through, more so than I expected with such a light odor. Quite pleasant overall.

Mouthfeel - Very smooth with light carbonation, almost too light. At first it tasted a little watery, but that wateriness is less noticeable as it warms up.

Overall - Very good beer, I'd buy it again in a heartbeat. Well balanced and overall a pleasant experience! An excellent example of a classic India Pale Ale!
