On-tap at Beachwood I,
A: Pours mahogany with a small light tan head. Solid retention, light lace.
S: Maple bars, some blueberry and grape jam.
T: An interesing mix of flavours for sure. Real nice brown sugar character, but not overly sweet. The Mourvedre grapes do their thing adding some earthiness and blueberries, and a clear 'grape' component. A complex drink, very tasty.
M: Medium-full body, well structured, never cloying which was surprising. Elegant soft carbonation.
O: This was a joy to try, The best I've ever had from Hangar 24.

Appearance - Pours a hazy rust red with an off-white finger width head. Fair retention, results in a thin layer of microbubbles coating the surface.
Smell - Predominant grape aroma. Sweet. Touches of heat. Faint honey notes.
Taste - Follows the nose. Strong grape flavor with moderate honey notes and touches of heat from the alcohol. Faint undertones of bread, caramel and chocolate, most noticeable in the aftertaste.
Mouthfeel - Medium to full body with lively carbonation. Finishes dry.
Overall - Awfully similar to Dogfish Head's Midas Touch in terms of flavor, though I prefer this one a bit more, mostly due to the more approachable body. If I never had this again I wouldn't miss it, but it's certainly something I'd consider buying again, price dependent.
