On tap at Saraveza. A mildly hazy yellow with a dense, white head with solid retention. The nose is nice. A refreshing blend of yogurty lactic acid and ripe, floral peaches, there’s some wheaty grist, a little bit of pepper and some honey. The palate opens with a bright tartness, lactic, faintly lemony, pronouncedly peachy, with some wheat. Not surprisingly, funk is lacking, and its inclusion would have only made this beer that much better - the fruit and acidity scream for it. But that said , this beer is excellent. A long lasting lactic finish with peach juice keeps this beer particularly refreshing.
