Ont tap at 16 tons, this is one of the better versions in my book. I get a lot of tropical fruit in the nose on this one, which I usually associate with a considerable amount of mosaic hops. It's more of the same on the palate, though as always, the beer has just a bit too much malty sweetness for my tastes. Mouthfeel is fairly full for a DIPA (fairly typical for stick hands though), and there's a touch of heat on the finish from the alcohol. Still a very tasty beer... I tried it side by side with the current version of the Laurelwood Megafauan, and much preferred this beer.

Pours a dark orange with a large white head that settles quickly, leaving solid lacing and a healthy head resting atop the beer
Smells of tropical fruits and some grassy hints
Taste is similar to the nose...tropical fruits; I get the fleshy fruits. I also get a sweetness that is above what I'd expect from the 8.1% ABV. There is a solid malt backbone that I wish wasn't so forward.
It's pretty chewy and that sweetness comes through
It's a very good beer, better than most...but just shy of the top tier.
So glad to have the opportunity to try, as I'm a PNW lover at heart (even though I'm 3000 miles away).
Thanks to Cavemanlawyer for the bottle!
