On tap at Baileys
two - 10oz pours
smell is off the charts. Pine, Citrus, HOPS, and just a really fresh IPA aroma.
mouthfeel - standard IPA. nothing crazy. right on the money
taste - well, this just took top spot on my IPA list. Pliny, Sculpin, WC IPA, Dirtwolf, etc. will all have to take a seat to this beauty. so fragrant and bright, yet perfectly balanced with the malt that leaves almost zero bitterness after the initial hop explosion. This and PtY are the two finest IPAs I have had. They have zero'd in on the recipe for this beer and its monthly distribution up to Portland is such a welcome treat. Such a bummer that IPAs do not age well because I would hoard cases of this stuff.
overall - fantastic IPA. if you dont know about it....good! more for me

Poured from 750 ml bottle, about a month old.
A - beautiful golden orange and hazy
S - lots of orange and tangerine, slight breadlines and maybe even some melon
T - follows the nose. Super juicy orange and tangerine, JUICY! Very little bitterness, definitely sticky sweet but finishes dry at the same time. Leaves you wanting more.
M - solid mouthfeel, smooth with a good amount of carbonation for the style.
O - An amazing DIPA, one I would buy regularly if I could find it. And I live in San Diego, so that is saying something. Seek this out!

750ml bottle into a teku glass. 8/2/13 bottling date.
Pours a crisp golden color with an attractive inch and a half head. Aroma is real big and intense on citrus fruit and a lot of rich hop profile. Taste isnt quite as sweet as the nose which is preferable, but the citrus fruits are still there and apparent however are balanced together expertly with both sticky hops and malts. Slight bitterness on the back end but the lingering flavor is sweet instead of bitter, quite nice! Medium bodied, medium carbonation.
Overall a world class IPA... very much recommended.
