12 oz bottle purchased at Bay Shore beer out on the Island.

No freshness/bottling date info info.

Pours lightly hazed light, near golden amber. The head is looser and fine, leaving a thicker collar and nice fine lace on the glass.

Zesty citric nose. Grapefruit and light pine picked up.

Lighter IPA, both in body and taste. More grapefruit notes along with some lemony zest. Quite dry with more hops in the finish. Nicely done. Nice dry and citric IPA, with a lighter body adding to the sessionability. Well worth a try.

This is an IPA on the palest end of the spectrum, about medium yellow with not as much shine as gold but pretty bright, not to mention completely clear. The head is frothy and almost ivory white. It rises to one finger and rests there for a good while, leaving patching as well as some webbing on the glass.
This beer, like many "session IPAs" out there, seems to take the route that makes the lowering of alcohol content to a lessening of aroma and flavor. It's not terribly weak, though, displaying a good citrus profile, an old-school grapefruit, orange and pine hops bouquet along with a balance from caramel malts.
The feel is a little light, bright but not as brisk and robust as the fuller medium body it should have. It does have a bite and it is relatively creamy, though.

Pours a golfs straw color with some honey highlights. Big frothy white head that settles into a puffy cap and sweet webby lacing.

The aroma is light but has a nice grapefruit hop scent. Slight grass. Not much from the malt.

Very light malt flavor, almost watery but no off adjuncty flavors. More of a grassy hop but does have some citrus and a dry bitterness. Not much else going on but that is ok. It's a session IPA.

The feel is light and has weak carbonation so it feels lighter than it is. Nice bitterness in the finish.

A good but not great session IPA. Not quite as flavorful as All Day IPA. Could use more active carbonation. I would buy these again as it has nice flavor and drinks well

Lovely golden straw color with a sizable head and a goodly amount of lacing. Some carbonation steaming up. Retention is dent but the beer stays covered all the way down. Nose has a grew combination of earthy hops and sweet light malt. I'm guessing pilsner by the color and lovely bread notes mixed with honey. There is a hint of pine and mint as well. Taste is superb with a hoppy front that peels back to reveal a solid malt grain and bread core. Finish is dry, firmly hopped, and a little long, leaving a blend of earth and light citrus with lingering hop oiliness. This is a perfect weight with a crispish carbonation that might be just a little soft, but it's not bothering me. Lowish abv means more glasses to enjoy and with the flavor of this one enjoyment is quite high! My first from this brewery and what a treat.

A: The beer is crystal clear yellow in color and has a moderate amount of visible carbonation. It poured with a half finger high off white head that gradually died down, leaving a thin layer of bubbles covering the surface and lots of lacing down the sides of the glass.
S: Light to moderate aromas of citrusy hops are present in the nose along with some hints of caramel malts.
T: The taste is very similar to the smell and also has a light to moderate amount of bitterness. The bitterness lingers through the finish, which also has some faint bits of piney flavors.
M: It feels a bit shy of medium-bodied and is somewhat crisp on the palate with a moderate amount of carbonation.
O: This beer is definitely sessionable as it is low in alcohol content, relatively light in body, and the hops and bitterness aren't overly aggressive. I could definitely see myself being able to have several of these beers in a sitting.

On draft at the brewery.

Poured a hazy brass hue with a one finger foamy white head. There was Goid retention and lacing.

The smell featured a light citrusy zest with a touch of pine.

The taste offered a vibrant citric hop with a secondary pine atop a grainy pale malt.

The mouthfeel was light with a vigorous carbonation.

Overall a tasty and super quaffable hop experience.

Pours a crystal clear yellow color with a foamy 1 finger snow white head that faded slowly and left very good lacing and rings as it went down.

Smells of cereal, malt, caramel, citrus, floral hops, light spices like coriander and biscuit or crackers; well balanced nose with equal parts hops and malt.

Tastes like it smells, with piney hops, floral hops, cereal, malt, caramel, citrus fruit like grapefruit, light spices like coriander and pepper, and biscuit or crackers; well balanced pale ale that goes down easy.

Mouthfeel is on the light side, with average carbonation, a medium body and a slightly bitter aftertase.

Overall a good sessionable beer that went down smooth. Listed in BA as an IPA but I suspect that it is a pale ale as it's not hoppy enough to pull off IPA status. Either way a nice beer to dink all night from the tap like I did last night.

Picked up a growler at the brewery yesterday at the release after enjoying a few pints. Growler poured into my new sandy & bruce snifter (july 22, 2012 - thanks phil!)

a - brew has really nice transparent soft yellow with hints of orange. Looks lush and rich. Nice finger of foamy bubbly head that didn't hang too long, but left islands of bubbles and large spots of lacing on the glass. Swirling the glass brought it all back to life in a single swirl and some visible carbonation could be seen dancing to the surface of the brew at a slow steady pace.

s - nose is ipa...all day. Soft but bright citric notes and hints of tropical fruit. Smells like an ipa should...with even some nice sweet candy notes on the finish of a big whiff. Really nice.

t - taste is fairly bold for such a sessionable brew. Big tropical fruit notes leading with citric and an almost tangerine vibe. Sift bitterness on the finish.

m - mouth is a bit watery but still medium bodied and what i would expect from a session ipa. I could drink this one all day though!

o - overall, this is one of the better offerings to come from gsb. Kind of like a field 5 lite but nowhere as dank. This can totally hang with all day ipa and for me, i prefer this over all day. Really nice to see the local guys hitting it hard. Keep an eye on gsb in 2014, some really great stuff a brewing out in bayshore. Keep up the good work. Local boys done great! Very much worth checking out. Cant wait for bottles to hit shelves!

Pale orange with steady pocked white foam.
Centennial sour orange (wine gums?) and oyster cracker nose.
Caramel thread with grapefruit zest, honeysuckle, and spruce needle hops.
Floral end and sherbety linger.
Almost medium, chewy.

Big squirt of citrus, 45 IBUs are there, all right, though a bit full-bodied for a session IPA. A bit sour, and Cascade a bit hidden. Not all about the aroma like other session IPAs, trying more to be a real IPA - sandpaper more than juice. And it does at fair job at 4.5%. Just not compulsively drinkable like some others in this style.

Worthy.
