Poured from a bottle as the final entry in the Snozzberry tasting, in a Jester King wine glass.
Appearance: Dark brown/black. Typical stout look. Pale coffee head.
Smell: Roasty, lactic, smells like a milk stout. Maybe a little bit of fruit in the nose, but not much. Was hoping for more.
Taste: Vague fruit, was really hoping there was more. Compared to the last snozzberry beers we tried, this doesn’t even compete. I do get coffee, and I like the roasted, nutty notes that I’m used to getting in a milk stout. But I wanted fruit and I didn’t get any.
Mouthfeel: Very thin, somewhat watery, which I guess makes sense for a 5% ABV stout. Carbonation is high, but the beer is pretty smooth. Goes down easy.
Overall: It’s good, but I barely get any of the fruit, which I understand to be raspberry and blackberry, and it’s thinner than I like my stouts.

Pours a jet black color with a short dense toasted khaki colored head that settled into a light ring.
The aroma is of a light roast with a hint of char. Nice chocolate and raspberry note follows. Sweet overall aroma.
Wow, the raspberry flavor really comes through. Its not overpowering as you might find in certain lambics but it dominates this beer. It has a nice jam type flavor. Light chocolate and roast notes are there to remind you that this is a stout. Pretty neutral milk stout flavor.
The feel is moderate with prickly carbonation. A bit on the light side for a stout. There is a touch of bitterness from the roast and tart from the fruit. Great balance and quite drinkable.
A good fruity stout. Could use some depth in the stout department but the raspberry flavor is quite good.

picked up the bottle from the brewery yesterday...bottled the day prior! enjoyed from a beer hunter snifter.
a - brew pours a deep lush black with a generous soft tan/off-white head that dissolved quick and leaves spotty streaky lacing on the glass and a ring of bubbles on the surface.
s - nose is spot on chocolate raspberry blackberry with a perfect roast and a hint of vanilla...my mouth waters.
t - taste to match. perfectly blended roasted chocolate, raspberry, and black berry. everything is in the right place. not too fruit forward like some of the bourbon country variants...sort of like those beers with a few years on them when the fruit gets into the right spot. i typically don't love fruit infused stouts since they all come across as over the top in the fruit dept, but this beer is spot on right out of the gate. had the draft and enjoyed the bottle more.
m - smooth and silky. super easy drinking.
o - overall blown away by the drinkability on this brew. not overly fruity with everything in the right place. really awesome fruit infused stout...one of the best i've ever had. i had some non-beer geek friends over when i cracked this and they all scoffed at my "dark beer" but when i encouraged them to at least smell it, they all wanted a taste and were blown away. keep an eye on great south bay. great things are a brewing and this is really just the beginning. can't wait for more from them!!!

Volunteered at the brewery and was lucky enough to draw this glass right from the tank...
Chocolatey in color with a huge mocha colored head...
Smell was coffee.. roastyness with a hint of alcohol and slight berry smell..
The taste was phenomenal. . Nice and roasty, Chocolate and berry in taste... very light in the blackberry rasberry taste but very well present.
A tad thin.. creamy and a bit watery. ..full flavor is midway thru the pallet as the mouthfeel thickens up slightly..
A very well brewed beer which surprised me a ton. Was expecting a mediocre beer but superbly flavorful and would be great without the berry addition but the berry set it apart from a standard stout... this may be still young but its great and would recommend. Im definitely picking up a few of these at the release...
