Thanks to mrbubbler for sharing this one at his tasting.
Pours an opaque black with a foamy dark khaki head that settles to wisps of film on top of the beer. Small dots of lace drip into the remaining beer on the drink down. Smell is of dark roasted malt, cocoa powder, char, and slight berry aromas. Taste is much the same with cocoa powder, char, and slight berry flavors on the finish. There is a mild amount of roast bitterness on the palate with each sip. This beer has a good level of carbonation with a crisp mouthfeel. Overall, this is a pretty good beer that is solid, but the berry aspects are a bit subtle to me.
Serving type: bottle.

Poured from a bottle as the final entry in the Snozzberry tasting, in a Jester King wine glass.
Appearance: Dark brown/black. Typical stout look. Pale coffee head.
Smell: Roasty, lactic, smells like a milk stout. Maybe a little bit of fruit in the nose, but not much. Was hoping for more.
Taste: Vague fruit, was really hoping there was more. Compared to the last snozzberry beers we tried, this doesn’t even compete. I do get coffee, and I like the roasted, nutty notes that I’m used to getting in a milk stout. But I wanted fruit and I didn’t get any.
Mouthfeel: Very thin, somewhat watery, which I guess makes sense for a 5% ABV stout. Carbonation is high, but the beer is pretty smooth. Goes down easy.
Overall: It’s good, but I barely get any of the fruit, which I understand to be raspberry and blackberry, and it’s thinner than I like my stouts.
