A delightful mid summer day's dream comes to life with our Blood Orange Pale Ale. We blend the finest quality Blood Oranges with our ever popular original Pale Ale recipe to produce this remarkably refreshing hand crafted beer. The secret to its splendor is just the right combination of hand chosen American hops to accentuate the natural bitterness and citrus flavors of the the Blood Orange. You'll be pleased with how amazingly the malt, hops, and blood orange meld together to create a sensation in a beer like a sunrise on a clear summer morning! We've never brewed anything quite like our Blood Orange Pale and we're happy to do so to keep you revitalized throughout the summer months.

The can pour is an optically clear amber with a thin, white foam cap and a tart boos orange aroma.
The blood orange flavor covers the malt aspects. The bitterness is likely more citrus sourced than hop induced.
The mouthfeel is very clean.
I like this quite a bit more than the previous time I had it.

2d from this maritime brewer on LI NY. Lovely take and it works.
a) Perfectly behaved amber-copper hazed body spinning up a white head that laces and lasts well for a fruit beer.
s) Blood orange keynote the rest a lovely malty, pungent copper pale ale like a Dales.
t) Taste is the star.
f) Feel is crisp, not sweet, drying after the initial fruit rush, well done, great food beer, in this case pesto and salmon with onion and salsa sandwich.
o) Sum of parts is great, my fave so far from brewer.

Much like their Mango Starfish Ale was lacking in mango their Blood Orange Pale Ale was lacking in blood orange.
In my opinion when there is the use if a fruit in the name of a beer it should have heavy flavors of said fruit. This is a decent beer that sadly is lacking in any orange flavor, pine and sweet malts are far more prominent in the flavor profile.

Out of the gsb beers, I’ve had the jetty ale, the blood orange, and the surfcaster summer ale. The blood orange was the best of the three. Not much of an orange taste but it has a nice body and it’s very smooth.!
