32 ounce growler filled at the source (new location up and running)

Pours lightly hazed medium amber, the off white head is moderate in size and on the loose side. Leaves decent fields of again loose sheeting.

Strong whiff of orange, sweet and pungent.

Respectable APA, more orange, but not as upfront as it is on the nose. Moderate hopping, and adequate malt to make it quite pleasant. Nicely done, I'd be going back for another fill if I was local. on the lighter side of the scale making this a nice summery kinda pale, went well with some clams on the half shell and swordfish.

From a growler into pint glass
A: orange Brown with good lacing small head that dissipates over a min or so
S: minor orange scent and salt. That's it
T: very watery there's the smallest of what once was hops followed by minor fruit notes which I assume is blood orange.
M: better, Theres hops and some small malt.
O: flavor is mediocre but the drinkability is good. Interesting and worth trying but not seeking out

A - Pours orange, cloudy, and with a haze. Some white foam that quickly dissaptes.

S - Smells of fresh oranges, earthy spice, and yeasty of fresh bread.

T - Love the crisp taste of orangy citrus. The citrues flavor is very up front. Behind that a secondary flavor of grain and a subtle hint of oily hops.

M - Insanely sessionable. I could drink this all day. I love citrus flavors, so this was like a dream.

O - Great one-off of the Robert Moses pale. I'd like to see this again.

12 oz. bottle poured into a snifter.

Appearance - Very clear orange/golden body. Small white head. Medium collar and a wispy surface.

Smell - The orange is pretty interesting. It's distinctly orange, but it has a slight artificial aroma. Like an orange flavored medicine. Very light grain.

Taste - Again, the orange is distinct and pungent. But it's the slightest bit medicinal. Covers up any hop flavor there might have been. Light cracker malt. Mild bitterness.

Mouthfeel - Very light, kinda watery. Lingering orange flavor. Medium carbonation.

Overall - After a while, the orange flavor becomes overpowering and I'm focusing on the unpleasant aspects. Becomes a distraction more than an attraction.

Pours a murky dirty orange color with little to no head. Looks like a pale ale that blood oranges were added to.

The aroma is of fresh oranges. The orange is not overpowering but gives the beer a bright aroma. Some bready malt notes round out the profile.

The orange hits right away in the flavor. Again, noticable but not overpowering. Nice fresh orange taste. The pale ale comes out in the taste more so than the aroma. Bready malt notes mix with a floral and grassy hop. Some citrus bitterness from the hops.

Moderate feel with tingly carbonation. Fairly sweet on the palate but in an OJ sort of way. Enough hop bitterness balances the beer.

This is a nice flavorful brew. The orange works really well with the pale ale. I get skeptical with fruit brews but this works nicely. Would be interesting to see citra or sorachi hop used in this brew.

8/22/13 update...
The beer is now bottled; same great flavor.

Had a sample at a beer distributor then made my way to the source to fill a Growler.

This beer won an award for best new taste and they were right a perfect summer drink that is nice clean and crisp. Insanely drinkable which is a bit scary.

For my own personal taste it could of been a little less Orangey in the taste but everything was balanced really well. I would highly recommend this brew if you get the chance to

A: The beer is crystal clear light amber in color and has a moderate amount of visible carbonation. It poured with a finger high bright white head that gradually died down, leaving a thin layer of bubbles covering the surface and a thick collar around the edge of the glass.
S: Moderate aromas of blood oranges are present in the nose.
T: Much like the smell, the taste starts out with initial flavors of blood oranges with hints of associated citric sweetness; it finishes with a light amount of bitterness.
M: It feels medium-bodied and slightly crisp on the palate with a moderate amount of carbonation.
O: The blood orange aromas and flavors are well incorporated into the smell and taste of this beer, so much that you would think they came from the hops (if there was such a variety that produced these types of aromas and flavors).
