A delightful mid summer day's dream comes to life with our Blood Orange Pale Ale. We blend the finest quality Blood Oranges with our ever popular original Pale Ale recipe to produce this remarkably refreshing hand crafted beer. The secret to its splendor is just the right combination of hand chosen American hops to accentuate the natural bitterness and citrus flavors of the the Blood Orange. You'll be pleased with how amazingly the malt, hops, and blood orange meld together to create a sensation in a beer like a sunrise on a clear summer morning! We've never brewed anything quite like our Blood Orange Pale and we're happy to do so to keep you revitalized throughout the summer months.

I received this one on a trade. Always interesting to see what people will send you. I honestly forgot I had this one and forgot who sent it. But, thanks!

Appearance: Light orange very effervescent some lingering head that sits on the top until the beverage is gone.

Aroma: Very pungent orange is dominant. Not a lot else. It does have a vinous character tot it, not much to note otherwise, but pleasant and floral.

Taste: Not much going on here, pretty much a benign Pale Ale with orange extracts or something to that nature added. It does finish clean and dry which is a plus. Otherwise its not bad, not great but interesting.

Overall: Not one I personally seek out but i do appreciate it as the extra and to have the opportunity to try something different.

Love the glowing orange colour! The orange bouquet hits your nose but doesn't overpower: It stays for a moment or two then goes on about its business down your throat. Very drinkable, crisp, a little wine-y and just a tad on the dry side; Somewhat light, not heavy at all (call it medium-light), nice balance of citrus fruit (Orange obviously, {duh!}) , flower and herbs from the hops. Head doesn't stick around long, but when it does, it makes the Blood Orange Pale Ale that much more desirable. A very good beer for the summer to help cool you off: Actually, just a good beer for any season.. Makes you want to have two or three in a row.
