Located in the new pedestrian mall area near I-25 and 144th. Medium sized patio, nice bar area. Entry way is a bit crowded and tends to back up a bit. Beers are typical of Rock Bottom - most seemed solid but not outstanding. 6 regulars plus a couple seasonals, and 2 cask offerings (I've been there twice, once they were both out). The food is the typical Rock Bottom menu. I tried the ESB on cask, and it was a solid offering - drinkable and a nice example of the style. The cream ale was a bit strange, but still decent.

This Rock Bottom opened just a couple months ago. I can only compare it to the other Westminster location as well as the Downtown Denver one. It sits in the middle of a new shopping area just off of I-25. It is on a corner lot next to a central open "park" area that has an outdoor gas fireplace and music that is pumped through out the mall area. The resturant is not as big as the other location I mentioned. The bar is a oval design surrounded by tables on on side and booths on the other. The table side faces the mall with large windows that can be opened for a more airy effect. Outside of them is the patio area with about a dozen tables. I went with a friend on a Friday night and it took about 20 minutes for a patio seat. We waited at the bar inside with a couple beers. Over the bar is a couple small plasma screens with the different sports channels on. The TVs seems to be a bit high and at a weird angle about the bar that forced me to lean back a bit to really watch. Though the bar was packed, the bartender took good care of us. The other Rock Bottoms I have visited had the current beers listed on on one central board with cask style ones either lsted on the same board or on another near by. This one has each of the main beers listed on their own board and I didn't even see one showing cask. Asking the bartender I found out what cask they had (one style/on both of the cask taps). Once seated on the patio, we ordered dinner. Both my friend and I ordered steaks due to my having a gift card and that there was a current special on steaks (free spinich dip, chili, or dessert). I had to make special mention of the promotion to get the dip as part of my order. My steak was prepared properly but the roasted asperagus seemed overdone. The waiter did not bring my dip and told me that because if the missing dip, that the manager would get me the dessert of my choice for free. Not bad since the dessert option in the promo was a small sundae and now I was able to get a piece of the chocolate stout cheesecake. They keep this up and I will easily become a regular guest.
