Had this @ the Bend Pub in a imperial pint.
A: Copper orange color with a one finger cream colored head.
S: Smells of citrus, orange & tangerine with some sweetness. Reminds me off orange sherbert.
T: Very fruity upfront, again mostly of tangerine & orange. Not as sweet as the nose suggested though. There's a slight hint of malt in the background.
M: This is lot drier mouthfeel than I expected. Crisp upfront with a medium-bodied mouthfeel & creamy finish.
D: This is a very drinkable beer that goes down very easy.

"This American style Cream Ale is one of the smoothest beers ever made here at Deschutes Brewery. The grist bill consists of Pale malt, Honey malt, Flaked Barley, Munich, and Rolled Oats. The citral hop flavor is imparted by Hallertau and Crystal Hops. Beware of this beer you might find yourself coming back for another over and over again. IBU's 20 | Alcohol Content: 5%"
Imperial pint at the pub, Rooster Cream Ale is a murky burnt orange with no head, wispy little white collar leaves scattered lace.
Smell has a sour citrus thing going on, sweet but not nearly as much as the nose.
Taste is bright and fruity, tangerine, candy like. I really am enjoying it, even if it's not really to style, I had to bump it up ½ point in the end.
Mouthfeel is crisp, a bit dry, medium bodied.
Drinkability is high if you like fruity, estery beers, which I most definitely do. I don't drink many cream ales, but this seems a little heavy on both the malt and hops for the style, more like an English pale or even IPA. Still, very quaffable.
