My jam during the World Cup. Well, at least one game. But it'd be more often if I lived in P-town.. The bartenders here are always nice and friendly with a bit of knowledge. The place itself is interesting: high ceilings, lots of swag up front, a cute host staff, sexiness, a big bar with 15ish taps. It's almost a little staid.
There's just a certain distance, and maybe it comes from the distance from brewery to brewpub. Anyway, Deschutes makes great stuff, and the brewers at the brewpub are making some excellent stuff as well. Always exciting to go back in there. Both times I've been in the XXII was on tap, and last weekend, the new Dissident was on tap with a couple other sours: a wild cherry black butte and a berliner weisse. and other boring stuff, too.

A must visit when in Portland. Great selection and a few special offerings. Food was better than average if a little on the bland side.
