Split with JLindros.
A - Poured into a Kate the Great a nice dark dark brown clearish hue with a thin head that left a light halo.
S - Aromas of banana, clove, sweeter malts. Rather straightforward, traditional.
T - Taste is nice caramel, banana, clove, sweeter malts. Light fruity esters. Very traditional and well, German.
M - Mouthfeel is nice, lightly carbonated, kind of sticky.
O - Overall this beer was alright, very cut and dry. Good example, true to the style.

Served cold, I held this one upside down for a bit prior to the pour, unsure of the traditional base that is. The Shegoat pours a deep brown and a light mahogany in the light with a decent cap of foam. Good depth to the aroma though a bit lacking in the taste department. Quite hoppy up front with some muddled caramel notes and with a firm carbonation, as it should be I say.
Touch of alcohol on the nose, light banana and a hint of clove spice, light caramel is muddled well.
This 'German Style Ale' has no flaws per se but alas an interesting yet average
