750 ml bottle, 2021 vintage, bottled on 08/25/21, label says from Bruery Terreux. Served in a chalice, the beer pours a hazy golden/orange color with about an inch and a half off-white frothy head that stayed around a while. Good amount of lacing, too. I like the aroma, the brew smells like ginger, vanilla, coconut, lime and some vinegar. For the most part I think the taste is similar to the aroma, but there's also some oak, lemon, bourbon and some earthiness noticeable too. I think the ginger and coconut stand out without overpowering the other flavors, and it's a pretty tart brew. Mouthfeel/body is medium, it's a bit coating with a good amount of carbonation. I liked this brew, recommended if you like ginger and coconut, or just tart beers in general!

2017 vintage. Poured from 750 mL bottle into cervoise.
A: Pours a clear golden hue with fizzy 1/2 inch white head that quickly recedes.
S: Prominent ginger (a la ginger ale), coconut, and sour base note. Hints of sour lemon and tart strawberries.
T: Tart/sour slaps you...in the tongue. As this settles, spicy ginger, mildly sweet coconut, sour and acidic lemon, tart strawberries, and a hint of oak tannins lingers in the background.
M: Light body. Super tart and sour with elements of spice, creamy sweet, and fruity. Drying oak tannins. Lingers nicely on the palate.
D: Super refreshing and nice sweet and spice notes. The sour and tart strength makes you slow down and enjoy the sips. Very nice summer brew!

Pours a golden color with a minimal head that disappears quickly. Aroma is tart, like Apple cider. Tastes like Apple cider. Very tart but refreshing. Smooth tasting. No hoppy bitterness at all. Good summer brew.

Pours a lovely burnished honey color with a loose, off-white head. Nose expresses notes of ginger and acetic acid. The taste on this beer is super tart - we're talking a tartness that will take enamel of teeth. There are also hints of coconut with are really quite pleasant and interesting. Mouthfeel is Light in body with a lively carbonation and an overpowering astringency. Overall, flavorful but too acidic.

Batch One

A: Poured into a Duvel tulip to a deep golden orange topped by a half finger of dense and rocky white head which fades quickly to a collar around the edge of the glass with minimal lacing.
S: Smells of light sourness, oak, ginger and coconut with a slight vanilla undertone
T: Taste is a nice bright sourness followed by the cocount and ginger along with that slight vanilla note from the barrels. Nice pleasant sourness throughout while the ginger and coconut play a nice supporting role. On the swallow there's more coconut and ginger with some lingering pleasant sourness, oak, and vanilla.
M: This beer has a moderate amount of body with a slightly creamy feel on the palate. Carbonation is effervescent but on the low end while the beer has a drying finish due to the acidity.
O: Overall this is a fantastic blend with some great adjuncts. The balance of flavors here is really superb which gives this beer a great amount of complexity. Still drinking well after all these years and one of my favorite blends that they do.

One of my more favorite Melange beers, this one is all tropical sour bourbony. A color somewhere around copper and amber with a full on 4/5" white head and good retention especially for a wild ale. Mild oak notes, coconut, lime, ginger and bourbon jump out in the nose. Definitely one of the more unique beers out there.

Taste continues with the same deliciousness that was in the aroma. I really like the interplay of coconut, lime, lemon, ginger and bourbon, yet it has a sourness in the (3-4) range on a 1-10 scale, which is nice restraint from the Bruery. No tongue ripping here.

The body is nice and light, I like the blend of a sour blonde ale with Sour in the Rye and barrel aged wheatwine. The bourbon kick to it is light and totally makes sense with all the other flavors going on here. The alcohol isn't even perceptible. This beer just crushes everything it set out to do.

I am stoked to try this beer. I have wanted this beer for a while now. Poured into my Bruery glass at 40 degrees. A two finger head with fair retention. The color of the beer is an amber color with orange hues. The clarity of the beer is clear. A few carbonation bubbles persist.

The nose of the beer is tropical, oak, yeast, vanilla, ginger, bourbon, earth, floral, citrus, and honey.

The flavors are bourbon, earth, floral, citrus, honey, earthy, ginger, coconut, wheat, tropical, oak, yeast, and sea.

The mouthfeel of the beer is crisp and bright. The body of the beer is light, medium carbonation, and a medium finish.

This beer is awesome. The flavors blended well. The balance of this beer is incredible. I wish I had more.

A: Lots of barrel vanilla, moderate coconut, light spice and sourness.

A: Copper color, clear with a thinnish uneven head that quickly forms a fine ring around the glass.

T: Vanilla flavor, coupled with toasty coconuts, lots of barrel character, slightly sweet malt, light spice and a slightly sour finish.

M: Medium-full bodied with moderately light carbonation.

O: Tasty; the beer has a great coconut, and vanilla profile with an interesting barrel presence that is nicely offset by a moderately light clean sourness.
