Thanks to drewone for sharing this one at Wowcoolman's tasting.

Pours a hazy dark orange with a foamy bone head that settles to wisps of film on top of the beer. Small dots of lace slowly drip into the remaining beer on the drink down. Smell is sour with malt, pineapple, coconut, and acidic aromas. Taste is much the same with sour coconut, pineapple juice, and cinnamon flavors on the finish. There is a mild amount of acidity on the palate with each sip. This beer has a good level of carbonation with a crisp mouthfeel. Overall, this is a very good beer with really nice coconut and pineapple qualities all around.

Serving type: growler.

Without any hesitation, one of the best beers I have ever had the pleasure to enjoy. I got a growler in a trade, and shared it at a tasting, and all who attended agreed that it was truly spectacular. The nose was exquisite, rich coconuts with tropical pineapple. The mouthfeel was in my top two of all time, it was creamy and luscious, almost silky. And the flavor - I have loved the SITR variants, and this was the absolute pinnacle. I gush, but this beer deserves it!

Rating this beer from last year. I see some negative reviews on this one, but they are reviewing a different version, the cask variation. This initial beer last year was hands down the best sour beer ever produced. I pray nightly, that I can get more growler fills for summer time. Best thing I have ever had in beer.

Served on tap at the Bruery

A: Pours dark amber and a little golden orange, with small head that disappears quick.

S: funky funk. smells sweet with coconut & pineapple

T: very sour. The pineapple and coconut complement this beer so well.

M: Medium carbonation, medium body with a little creaminess.

Overall: Really great sour. The coconut and pineapple make SiTR really come together in glory. I will forever look forward to them brewing this beer. Probably the best fruited sour ever made....just ask anyone that has had the pleasure of trying this. I will bet they will say the same.

Had a cask of this at The Bruery... I honestly don't get the hype, fresh coconut adds a very odd smell and flavor to lighter beers. Mash and Coconut was incredible, but this really fell flat.
