Poured into fluted glass, I'm new to this style, so the extra funk may not be so apparent to me.
A: Hazy golden orange amber hue, big fluffy off-white head, receding to about a cm or so of puffy head. Big thick walls of lacing. Great looking beer.
S: Strong grassy hop, earth, spicy rye, lemon, grainy toasted malt. The brett yeast is noticeable, but not the beast I'm used to.
T: Semi tart and dry, banana, pepper, spice, lemon, grassy hop. Very peppery. Good amount of yeast flavor too. The more I drink the more I like this. It's a funky mix but very enjoyable. Has a funky brett infused aftertaste.
M: light-medium body, high carbonation. pretty dry throughout.
O: When I first poured this beer I didn't think I'd enjoy it, but it is really flipping good! I think the bar was just set way too high for my first saison.
