Served in a 1pt 9.4fl oz bottle in a Bruery tulip glass
Appearance - a nice dark gold, almost bronze hue with a creamy off-white head that has a nice thickness to it.
Smell - I know that some saisons tend to have a fruitiness to them, but what came across more to me was a farm like smell which I imagine was the yeast coming through. This teams up with a fresher fruitiness that adds to a well balanced fragrance.
Taste- this beer has so much flavor and so many flavors coming through, I almost feel unqualified in mu beer knowledge to give air an honest taste. However, what comes through is a nice bitterness that mixes with earthy yeast i thought stood out in smell. There is a slight tang to it, not overwhelming but adds to the late taste on the tongue.
Mouthfeel - the feel from this beer may be my favorite part. I feel like the creaminess from the head makes for a substantially heavy mouthfeel, I don't mean that it is heavy compared to other types of beer, but rather that it fills your mouth with a creamy cloudiness that makes for an enjoyable drinking experience.
Overall - I love this beer because it is so fun satisfying and interesting to drink. Certainly it has an utterly fantastic and complex flavor, but it also has a nice bitterness to it and a lovely feel on the to tongue. Certainly a beer that would excite a beer connoisseur.
