Appearance - Erupted when opened with a white foam. Pours a light amber tone with a white head about half an inch or so. Lacing is decent.
Aroma - Tart grapefruit, orange, some funky sour, floral hints.
Taste - Beautifully balanced woody rye taste with the fruity citrus and tartiness creating a delicious backdrop. The combination with the hoppy finish due to the lack of aging is absolutely amazing but I can't wait to try this beer aged.
Mouthfeel - highly carbonated with a subtly dry finish.
Overall - Beautifully balanced and delicious. I bet it gets even better with time, particularly if you love that funk. So good.
