Poured into a New Belgium tulip after 6 months of proper cellaring
A - Pours an orangish/light brown boty with a huge white head. Head takes up a third of the glass, with some lacing. Takes a while to dissipate.
S - Has a prominent bretty funk aroma. Backed up by a little spiciness and tart apple.
T - Surprisingly sweet initial taste. Gives way to a funky, peppery backbone. Not even slightly tart as I expected.
M - Loads of carbonation with a really dry finish.
O - Really solid brew. The funkiness from the brett is balanced really well by the rye, peppery flavor, making it very smooth and drinkable. Good Stuff
