A - Pours a clear but darker golden color. Nice white head, very strong but breaks down quickly with lots of lacing.
S - Malty and sweet with a background of spices. Full on smooth barley with just bits of pilsner (guessing?) and then the coriander and some white pepper.
T - Starts off smooth and sweet, lightly malty, some of those spices come in. Tabacco from the brett makes an appearance. Mid-stream gets rather dry, almost biting flavors. Hopping is non-existent. Finishes clean with just a hint of bitterness in the finish.
M - Moderate body, moderate to strong carbonation. As noted in the flavor, a very dry character is pretty stingy. No alcohol warmth detected.
O/D - A good saison - don't detect much of the rye. A little bit filling from the hefty carbonation. A good all around saison.
