pours a light golden orange with fluffy white head
smells of malty and biscuity notes with floral spices, slight basil, coriander, lemon, slight banana
sweet malt followed by sublte and smooth spice notes such as basil, coriander, slight pepper, slight dry piney hops
the basil is crisp and very refreshing on the finish, with a solid yet smooth malty body without being overly sweet. the floral notes give it a dry, herby mouthfeel that is very balanced
a really smooth and intriguing beer. lots of different flavors that meld extremely well together. There is a lot going on, but everything is just at the right level, great body, balance, spices, and flavors

On tap at Hops & Pie in Denver; poured into a tulip.
Appearance - gold, clean with a medium white head that recedes quickly. Lacing is weak, but there.
Smell - mildly sweet with some citrus and ripe fruit.
Taste - some fruity sweetness, tartness and bitterness that hides the 8% ABV. Very tasty and incredibly refreshing!
Feel - balanced, with a light to medium feel. Very flavorful and easy to drink!
Overall - I love the style and this beer in particular, however for the price, I'd likely pass it over in my local bottle shop.
