Had this in the basement for a while so I decided to pull it out and throw it in the fridge for a bit.
Pours lightly cloudy with a yellowish brass in color. The head is initially bright white but fades quickly leaving the smallest trace of haze and skiing on the top.
The nose is sour with a mix of mustiness, hints of Belgian candied sugars, pepper and light vanilla.
The taste is quite unique. Very highly carbonated with a medium body. The sourness rages through into the palate with Belgian sugars, oak and even traces of watermelon mixed in with the peppery flavor.
Definitely Belgian-esque. Very interesting for it's style.
