Pours hazy reddish brown with 1/2 inch of off-white head that fades to just a thin film on top that leaves faint spotty lace.
Smell is of pumpkin pie spices: cinnamon, nutmeg, etc., with baked yam and maple on the finish.
Taste is of cinnamon, nutmeg and clove up front with earthy yam, maple and molasses on the back end.
Mouthfeel is medium bodied with medium carbonation.
This brew succeeds where most pumpkin ales fail. Most pumpkin ales are thin in body and are too spice forward, where Autumn Maple allows the yams and their texture to shine alongside the Autumn spices.
