Poured into my CBS snifter
Poured dark brown with lots of bubbles, hardly any head.
Smells of sweet potatoes along with some pumpkin pie spice.
Flavor is similar. Sweet potato/yam really comes out. Some brown sugar, cinnamon and nutmeg as well. Really sweet and malty.
Low carbonation levels and a thick syrupy mouthfeel.
This one didn't do it for me at all. Too sweet and the low carbonation only enhanced that. Wasn't a horrible beer, but a drain pour nonetheless because it was too sweet to finish even between 2 people.
