look: 4.5 | smell: 3.5 | taste: 4 | feel: 3.5 | overall: 3.5
Appearance: nice dark pour with a touch of mahogany, good head, no lacing.
Smell: Booze hits you in the face immediately like a brick wall, lots of bourbon but also heavy alcohol. Lots of vanilla, oak, toffee, and molasses as well. Alcohol overload.
Smell: Burning booze up front, the smell was more bourbon but the taste is all alcohol. Incredibly rich, full of bourbon, fudge brownies, brown sugar, toffee, molasses, vanilla, and caramel. Very rich, but just too much alcohol.
Mouthfeel: could use a touch more carbonation, but otherwise very rich.
Drinkability: Incredibly rich, but the enormous booze factor makes more than a glass a chore.
Most of the scores took a hit as it is really too much booze, a bit too sweet, and a bit too flat. I think it would be better on tap.
