Pours golden with orange hues. A very solid creamy white head sticks around for a bit. Little lacing.
Sweet nose. Caramel with some Belgian spice and a little wheat malt aroma.
Sweet caramel at first. Belgian spices then come into play, but are very subdued and don't overpower the beer as I feared they may. Strong alcohol taste although just tastes like a high ABV beer, not a bourbon aged one.
Medium bodied and packs a punch.
I liked this a lot more than I thought I would. Belgian yeast complements the base beer nicely. A little too all around boozy and got sweet at times, but a solid beer.
