I like vinegar forward intensely sour beers so I openly admit to bias here.
Poured into a chimay glass, this pours a murky brown color with a thin white head. A light foam has lasted through half the glass already.
The nose is sharp acidic notes with light fruit and malt aromas faintly in the back ground.
Vinegar forward as hell with very little else going on. There is a certain amount of malt flavor perhaps some oak and maybe a buttery or vanilla mixed in with a slightly less acidic fruit, but lets be honest. This is a beer for those who LOVE sour, intense sour.
There could be more carbonation and to be honest it is a bit heavier than perhaps needed. still I'm rather pleased and I love the acid bite to it.
A really really good sour beer though not as complex or nuanced as many nor priced economically (I paid 19.99). I still like this one a lot but after half a bottle, I've convinced myself to not get another bottle anytime soon.
