Served in a flute.
Appearance: very dark brownish amber, cloudy as it gets and a steady orange tinted white head that rose to maybe just under a finger's length.
Smell: you might need to let it warm as the beer release it's yeasty notes.
Taste: This is a nice complex brew, sweet..almost raisin like with a bready and yeast feel that becomes very addicting. Slight sourness which the feel has some burnt sugars to it. I wouldn't drink it to cold as it neutralizes some of the flavors, I had to let my glass sit just a little bit and you feel.
Mouth: Medium carbonation, not too sticky but ridiculously smooth and sweet honey finish.
Overall: grabbed this a few months back on my trip to PA and if I see it over here back in NY I would definitely grab it again. Might be best served after dessert..or better yet make this your dessert. Salud!
