Pours a very light straw color, somewhat opaque. Big frothy head, as a Belgian Pale should be. Very active carbonation seen underneath the surface. Aroma is light. Citrus (lemon) and light spices, such as coriander. Complex for how light it is. A bit earthy - a little funky like my basketball tank top when I was young. Same spices as aroma are observed in the taste, acidic lemon and allspice is palpable. Wow, super dry. Would be good on a hot day with some water. Earthiness comes out in taste, mostly hops, which are great in flavor. Nectary/flowery (Hallertau?), but doesn't stick around in the finish, as it's too dry to be very bitter.
Complex, light, effervescent. This is about as good as an American Belgian Pale gets. Go buy one.
