Tried on tap at the Bruery Reserve Society Event, poured into a wine tasting glass.
A- Nice hazy yellow/amber color with a good 2 finger head with nice retention and slight lacing.
S- I know that this is a Belgian Pale Ale but damn it smells like a great west coast IPA, nice citrus, pine, grapefruit, and tropical scents, also get some nice caramel malt scents and bready yeast.
T- Not as strong as the smell but you do still get some nice citrus and pine taste with alot of grapefruit and tropical fruits as well as some nice balanced caramel malt flavors and finishes with that bready yeast.
M- Nice medium body, doesn't feel like a 8.5% alcohol beer, nice ample amounts of carbonation.
D- Very drinkable, went back to this beer several times during the celebration. Easy session beer with tons of flavor, my brothers favorite beer besides the black tuesday and papier.
Serving type: on-tap
