750ml in sections into a tulip.
A - Cloudy golden body with huge carbonation and a 3 finger thick head that would hold up a roll of quarters...
S - Citrus, pineapple, pepper, are all mixed with a fruity sweetness. Slight tinge of alcohol noted.
T - Wow. Moderate upfront bitterness is noticed first, then a great bread maltiness comes in leading the way for the hop burst finish. The bitterness is clean and not harsh, the malt backbone is just short of a barleywine, the hops flavor is that of a west coast IPA. Citrus, green apple, pineapple, with an earthy aftertaste.
M - Moderate to full bodied, Belgian hyper-carbonation, crisp finisher.
D - Moderate to low. This is one complex brew, and a 750ml is my one night limit here...
