Enjoyed in a tulip on 3/2/12.
Appearance: Light golden color with a haze to it due to it being unfiltered. Huge head diminishes after a minute or two and sticks to the sides of the tulip.
Smell: Bready, with a distinct, but not overwhelming yeast aroma. Sweet candied sugar aromas. Definitely Belgian.
Taste: Sweet with a mild yeast funkiness to it. Fruity lemon and herbal flavors are balanced by easy drinking hops. Clean and crisp.
Mouthfeel: Light on the tongue and a dry finish. Overly heavy carbonation.
Overall: Very good, Belgian Pale Ale is usually not a go-to style for me. Only major complaint is the carbonation.
Serving type: bottle
