750 mL bottle poured into a snifter. Bottle #633.
Appearance - Deep amber. Nice khaki head. Medium collar.
Smell - Lots of bourbon. Sharp liquor aroma. Oak. Vanilla. Lots of caramel and brown sugar. Slight oxidation.
Taste - Bourbon is first. Brown sugar. Oxidized flavors lend sherry and just a bit of cardboard, but I think it works really well. Bourbon comes back aggressively.
Mouthfeel - Immensely boozy. Medium carbonation. Sticky sweet.
Overall - This beer ages so nicely. Delicious.
