A: Poured from a bottle to a tulip glass. Had a brown color with ruby tints and a somewhat thick texture. There was an inch of foamy, long-lasting head. Average lacing.
S: A surprisingly subdued smell of yeast, sugar, and spices.
T: Tasted of Belgian yeast (though not that much), malt, sugar, a little dark fruit and mild spices. This beer has a decidedly uneven flavor. It weighs down most of the flavor in the front and leaves very little in the thin finish.
M: A good amount of carbonation with a smooth, velvety finish. Medium-bodied.
D: Not a bad or undrinkable beer, but definitely uneven.
