open this one after hearing this might be infected.
Poured a dark brown in a tulip. retains a short lived white head.
aromas of oak, cherry, belgium candy, and sour rasberries.
stars off strong in alcohol and dark candy residual sugars. burn caramel also takes presidence. follows with tight carbonation and finishes with some sour under tones. not sure if this was because of the oak or other bugs.
overall this beer seems hot and doesnt hide the alcohol well yet. i hope the sourness does not take over the rest of the notes. in fact if it does i woudl suggest drinking this one with in a couple months.
it was an ok beer as i hope it changes over time.
